Ahhh I haven't updated in forever. Clue is doing amazing, we had a set back and he has gone back to rearing. Yeah should have seen my face the first time he got his lazy self up! lol but the past two rides we had with no rearing! So proud of my boy. Oh and on a side note I might have found a buyer for Skylar! So i'll be able to start my search for a new horse!

Long time no see!
I've been so busy, graduated high school finally!! Been working my butt off at Wal-mart. And riding Clue. I might have two buyers for Skylar! The sooner I sell her the faster I can get me a paint[: . Clue and I have another horse show this weekend at Four Winds. Hopefully it doesn't rain or we wont be able to go. BOO. I'm more nervous about this show that the last. My trainer and pretty much my support group has to leave for half the show because she has to go to her graduation(shes a teacher) but I'll have Brian. Ugh lol But Lyndsy said he promises to be nice haha. And Clue has been having a major attitude. Like refusing to canter from a walk, he would start to do it then stop all the sudden and refuse to go forward. We ruled out pain because we had his teeth done and his back adjusted a few days before then. So its pretty much his ATTITUDE but hopefully i get him over it before the show. or it will be very interesting.

Our next horse show is June 19, this time we'll be competing in halter and showmanship. Let me tell you something. Practicing showmanship in a hot arena, when its 90 degrees outside really SUCKS! ha ha, also hoping we can do Jr eq classes. But Clue gets really frustrated when doing patterns so we have to work on those more then doing rail work. But he pretty much gets all week off because i have to work ughh :[ oh well I graduate in 5 days (4 in like 2 hours) so he'll be getting worked every day! LUCKY HIM haha

So the show yesterday was amazing! Clue was fabulous! I had to wake up at 4 and be at the barn at 5 in the freaking morning lol I was so nervous our first class was wt open English pleasure and we got 4th out of 13 horses, then we did wt open eq and got 5th out of 10 horses. We did Jr. English Pleasure and got 3rd out of 16 horses!! I was so proud of him at that point. We didn't place in the w/t/c open English pleasure because Mr. clue decided he wanted to pick up the wrong lead in front of the judge, then continued to not pick it up. Got a 6th in open w/t western horsemanship, didn't place open w/t western pleasure. and *drum roll pleaseee* 3rd in Jr western pleasure out of 11 horses!! god I almost cried, he is an amazing horse the judge obviously liked him a lot.

Rode clue outside for the very first time today. We rode down to the end of the drive way, then walked back with no problems. He was a little brat about standing still for a picture though after he heard George and the others calling to him. Then I took him out to the (soon to be) outdoor, which is normally his turnout so I was a little iffy on weather or not he was going to act up. But of course I had nothing to worry about. I asked him for a jog, he was pretty slow which is good!, i jogged him around for a while before I was ready to ask him for a lope, he likes to launch forward when he starts to lope so I have to hold him when I ask him, then let him go when he slows down.
Yesterday I rode him in his show bit to get him used to it, poor boy didn't know what to do with it (its a high port) haha. But this bit is pretty amazing, as of this point I think we're pretty ready for the show, which by the way i have to be at the barn by 6 in the morning!! UGH. oh well its going be a long, exciting day. It's suppose to be in the 70s! the boyfriend is coming out to watch so ill make him take lots of pictures and videos[:

Our first horse show is this weekend and I'm so nervous, and I know Clue will be just fine, even if we don't place it'll be fun. It's going to be my first real horse show. ugh ugh can it come any quicker?!?!

just wanted to update. I rode gypsy (4 year old paint) and jumped her our very first time, and I didn't die! haha I was very proud of myself, maybe I can jump clue after our lesson tomorrow :P so we can do Hunter Hack classes. oh and have been working on showmanship with him so we can at least attempt to enter it at the shows. So our for sure first show will be the West 20 may 22 show, if lyndsy doesn't come up with other plans.
