I just want to give a little of a background on Clue. I started riding him the summer of 2009, looking to buy him. A month or two later I moved to the barn with my current horse(Skylar) and rode him randomly. I just started riding him frequently the past few months. Clue is the type of horse that knows what he is doing you just have to convince him that he does. If thats not confusing. I am working him western pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle (HUS). He has a nice jog, and a good lope when I get him into it correctly. His trot and canter are coming along nicely. My trainer thinks hes going to do better in HUS because he has a longer stride. Hopefully our first horse show together will be in May. It's all up to Mr. Clue and his lope!
Tomorrow my trainer (Lyndsy) will be holding a discipline clinic for some 4hers, Clue and I will be doing HUS, and Magic(a 21yr Arab/Saddlebred) will be doing Saddleseat.

- I'm Nancy. I'm Eighteen years old and a freshmen in college to become a Nurse. I've been riding horses for about 6 years. I own a 2007 registered Paint gelding named Riley. I bought him in September of 2010. He is just started under saddle by me and is learning how to be a good riding horse and show horse. We are training for western pleasure, hunter under saddle, equitation, horsemanship, showmanship and halter. 2011 will be our first show season together. He is my second horse, my first horse was a 2000 grade mare named Skylar who I sold to a loving couple in the summer of 2010. I've owned her since 2007.
